Come and enjoy an intimate House Concert with Mariachi Fuego!
Mariachi Fuego de Utah is a musical group in West Valley City, Utah. Under the direction of Marx Huancas, a classically trained musician with experience in the Salt Lake Symphony, the group has stood out on the local scene since its formation in April 2023.
Mariachi Fuego’s origins trace back to November 2018, when Huancas founded the Utah Mariachi Program with the goal of fostering a love of mariachi music among children, youth, and adults. Although the program was interrupted by the pandemic in March 2020, it successfully restarted three years later. In April 2023, Huancas selected the most outstanding students to form Mariachi Fuego, who, in July of that year, placed third in a mariachi competition, competing against professional groups.
