David Baker's Album Release Listening Show

I’ll be hosting an Album Release Listening Party will have room for about 50-60 people. I’ll break down some of the inner-workings of the record and giving a lot more context then you’ll get just listening on your own—it’ll be super intimate and lovely and I can’t wait to share. We’ll have food and drinks, and it’ll be such a special night! It will be RSVP only since space will be limited—if you want to be there just reach out!!

This project was an expanse of love and learning, a sincere bed of thought that nurtured new angles for me as a composer, lyricist, and arranger. It is an exercise in choice and intentionality, and challenged me in so many ways that are indescribable. Its a reflection of those lost to suicide, those overcoming addiction, mothers dying of cancer, the global pandemic, but also personal growth, appreciation, and a thankfulness for the random, beautiful, and treacherous white noise that life seems to be. I share it with the world now, to start off on new songs and sounds, but I truly hope you find something resonant within the album.
