Swing Collective at The Felt Bar

The "Hot Four" are a band of working Joe's with a great enthusiasm for swing, traditional jazz, hot jazz, and the music of JDango Rheinhardt, Sidney Bichet, and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. They believe in bringing the collective improvisation of  New Orleans jazz together with the sophistication of musicians like Django Reinhardt and Duke Ellington. Two guitars, clarinet/saxophone, and a bass fiddle make up this quartet. Their music features the sweet and hot melodies of the clarinet (Benjamin Biggers) as the organizing principle, with an early Django rhythm Section: Bart Cubrich and Andrew Lucia on guitar, and Parker Childs on the upright bass.
