COMMUNITY NEWS

WEEKLY MUSICIAN SPOTLIGHT

Kenny Fong

Meet Kenny Fong! Besides being well-dressed, he's a wonderful saxophonist and community organizer. You may have seen him with his band, Flamingo, who play jazz and blues inspired by New Orleans, Havana, and Miami at their Wednesday night residency at Lake Effect. Kenny is excellent at bringing people together and getting audiences excited about jazz.

Naturally, he is the new force behind the music at Neutral Ground Lounge, a new venue/restaurant that just opened downtown and is featuring live music three nights a week! As Neutral Ground's resident artist and booking agent, he is going to be bringing his energy to continuing to build our talented music scene into the best in the west. Thanks for being awesome Kenny!

Tune in next week for our Nerd Corner and Listening Room!
