BRIAN WOODBURY

Dr. Brian Woodbury is a trombonist, composer, arranger, and educator from Salt Lake City, Utah. He has performed and recorded with several groups, including Johnny Mathis, The NYChillharmonic, Erin Dickins, the Neon Trees, the Brad Leali Jazz Orchestra, the UNC Jazz Festival All-Stars, the Alex Heitlinger Big Band, the Drew Zaremba Fellowship, the Steve Lippia Orchestra, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Porfi Baloa y sus Adolescentes, Hot House West, Jay Lawrence, Annie Booth, and the University of North Texas One O’Clock Lab Band. His 2021 debut album Dream Feeder is on all streaming platforms. Brian is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Jazz Studies at the University of Utah and an Adjunct Professor at Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University. He also taught courses and directed ensembles at the University of North Texas and the University of Colorado Boulder.
