The Swing Collective is built on the idea that swing music is community music. As a collective we work to support each other to improve our craft, expand our repertoire, polish our improvisations, and connect people with the irresistible groove of swing rhythm. Through workshops, jams, dances, and performance, we are constantly coming together in new formations with new found friends. Come connect, learn, and experience the joy of swing music. The Swing Collective along with its sister program, the Trash Moon Collective, is the secret sauce that will turn Salt Lake City into the acoustic music capital of the world. We’ll get there together as a community of friends.
