His entrepreneurial spirit is evident in his diverse business ventures, having founded Utah Live Bands, Skylark Productions, Empire Casino Parties, Dinosaur Events, Slaplaughter, Cuddle Couch, and Platinum Pictures Photo Booths. Additionally, his ownership in several nationally touring bands and entertainment acts showcases his deep connection to the music industry.

With over 12 years of experience as a business broker with Alpine Business Brokers, Michael's expertise in selling businesses and business consulting is unparalleled. He has been involved in the sale of over 100 businesses, earning national awards from the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA). His professional licenses, including being a licensed real estate agent and Realtor, Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), and former member of SAG-AFTRA, further highlight his diverse skills and qualifications.

Michael's businesses have been recognized with 49 Utah Best of State awards, and he is a regular lecturer on entrepreneurship at universities and schools. His musical journey is equally impressive, beginning with performances and teaching saxophone in high school. He attended BYU on a music scholarship, where he won national awards and taught a full studio of private students. Michael has taught as a professor at BYU and was the head of the Utah Valley University Jazz Department. As an artist on the Jazz Hang record label and author of "Fundamentals of Jazz Improvisation," Michael has made significant contributions to the field of music education.
